We’re introducing Domain Transfer-In, a new feature that allows you to transfer domains from registrars like GoDaddy, Namecheap, and others directly into Platform. This update streamlines domain operations by consolidating purchase, transfer, renewal, DNS management, and billing into a single workflow.
How to Enable It
If Domain Purchase is already enabled for a account, Domain Transfer-In will be automatically supported.
If it’s disabled, enable it by following these steps:
- Go to Settings (Account) → Company → Domain Purchase and toggle it ON.
- Then go to Settings (Account) → Domain Purchase and enable it for the specific accounts you want.
Once enabled, users will see both “Purchase/Transfer Domain” and “Transfer-In” buttons on the Domains page of those accounts.
How It Works
You can initiate a domain transfer in two ways from the Domains page of a account:
- For an existing external domain → click “Transfer-In” on its domain card.
- For a new domain (not connected to Platform) → click “Purchase/Transfer a Domain” at the top, then select “Transfer Domain”.
The process includes five guided steps:
- Enter Domain– Type the domain you wish to transfer or select an existing external one.
- Eligibility Check– Platform verifies transfer eligibility based on registrar and domain status.
- Review DNS Records– Upload a DNS zone file or auto-scan existing records. Edit, add, or delete as needed.
- Finalize Transfer– Unlock the domain, disable DNSSEC and Whois privacy, provide the authorization code, then confirm. The transfer fee will be deducted from your wallet.
- Approve Transfer– Approve the transfer via your current registrar’s dashboard or email to complete migration.
Tooltips, help docs, and in-app guidance are provided throughout the process.

Important Notes
- Some TLDs (e.g., .in, .co.uk, .tv) are not supported at this time.
- Always verify DNS records post-scan to avoid interruptions.
- Transfer charges include rebilling markup if applicable at the account level.
