Overview

We’re excited to announce the launch of Self Service Onboarding in Listings — a feature designed to reduce time-to-value and improve first-time user activation. With this release, users are now guided through an intuitive, structured onboarding experience via an in-app widget. This helps them quickly understand Listings’ core benefits and take the right actions to begin seeing results faster.

What’s New

A new 5-step Onboarding Widget has been added to the Listings dashboard. It helps users complete key setup steps:

Submit Entity Form
→ Registers the business entity on the provider platform.
Add Business Hours
→ Ensures accurate and complete business information for listings.
Connect Google & Facebook
→ Enables publishing on key channels and syncs updates in real time.
Add Services & Keywords
→ Improves searchability and listing performance across directories.
Add Social Media URLs
→ Links the business’s social presence, enhancing credibility and SEO.

Key Highlights

Prominent Dashboard Placement
: The widget stays visible until all setup steps are completed. A subtle ripple animation draws user attention.
Smart Prioritization
: Entities that have active subscriptions but haven’t submitted setup forms are highlighted at the top.
Progress Tracking
: Each step is trackable and helps motivate users to complete the full flow.
Contextual Visibility
: The widget is also shown within each individual Entity View if any steps remain incomplete.
Skip Option
: Users can skip steps and return later without losing progress — balancing flexibility and structure.
Auto-Dismiss Logic
: The widget automatically disappears once all required steps are completed for all active entities.
