Overview:
The "Login As" feature allows account admins to temporarily access another user's account within the system as if they were that user. We’ve introduced a dedicated permission for the "Login As" feature, giving admins precise control over who can impersonate or access other user accounts. This enhances accountability and supports stricter access governance.
New Permission Settings:
Enable Login As (Under User Management) → By default, it will be enabled, Account owner/admins can disable it for other account admins based on their use case. Once disabled, Login As option will be hidden.
Why It Matters:
- Tighter Access Control → Previously, all account admins could use "Login As." Now, this capability is permission-gated to reduce risk and improve oversight.
- Security → Helps organizations enforce least-privilege access by limiting account impersonation.
