Google Ads Conversion Action Flow in Ad Manager

Modified on Tue, 10 Jun at 8:56 AM

What’s New?
You can now
create, manage, and edit Google Ads offline conversion actions
 directly within Account
Ad Manager Settings → Google Ads → Conversions
, all without leaving the account platform!
This simplifies the entire flow of setting up offline conversions for Google Ads campaigns, ensuring consistency and ease of tracking leads, purchases, and other key offline events.
How It Works:
  • Navigate to
Marketing → Ad Manager → Settings → Google Ads → Conversions
    .
  • View a list of all conversion actions (both existing ones from Google Ads and those created via Ad Manager).

  • Click
    “Create a new conversion”
     to launch an intuitive form:

  2. Conversion Source
(Converted lead, Qualified lead, Purchase, Signup, Add to cart, etc.)

  1. Count
(Many per click / One per click)
  • Value settings
  • Currency
  • Click-through conversion window
     (up to 90 days)
  • Attribution Model
     (Data-driven: preset for offline conversions)
  • Save the conversion and it will automatically be created in your connected
    Google Ads account
     via API.
existing conversions from the same screen as needed.
Note:
  • This flow is built specifically for
    offline conversion actions
(aligned with account's current tracking logic).
  • Support for
    website conversion actions
via Google Tag Manager is planned for future releases.
Why it Matters:
  • Seamless Setup
     - No need to switch to Google Ads UI for offline conversion setup.
  • Consistency
     - Ensures that conversions match what is being tracked inside account workflows.
  • Time-saving
     - Few-clicks, fully native experience for account users.
  • Supports Advanced Campaign Reporting
     - Enables better optimisation and attribution for offline conversions.
Notes:
  • Offline Conversions Supported
: Lead conversions, purchases, form submissions, etc., that happen outside the website/app.
  • Existing Google Ads conversions
are automatically brought into the view and can be selected for campaigns.
  • Conversions created in Ad Manager
will be available for selection inside Google Ads campaign setups.
  • Uploading actual conversion events
will be handled through account workflows - this flow covers conversion action creation & management.
